"A beautiful charcuterie board is the ultimate expression of Southern hospitality — generous, inviting, and made to be shared. Arrange it right on your Quinlan Treasures cutting board and let it be the centerpiece of your gathering."

What You'll Need

Meats

  • Prosciutto or country ham, thinly sliced
  • Salami or soppressata
  • Smoked sausage, sliced
  • Peppered turkey or chicken

Cheeses

  • Sharp white cheddar, cubed or sliced
  • Creamy brie or camembert
  • Pepper jack, sliced
  • Smoked gouda

Accompaniments

  • Fresh grapes, strawberries, and figs
  • Honeycomb or local wildflower honey
  • Whole grain mustard and pepper jelly
  • Candied pecans
  • Cornichons or bread & butter pickles
  • Assorted crackers and sliced baguette
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Linda's Tips

  • Start with your largest items — cheeses and small bowls — to anchor the board.
  • Fan or fold your meats for an elegant, abundant look.
  • Fill every gap with crackers, nuts, or fresh fruit so no board shows through.
  • Serve brie at room temperature for the creamiest texture.
  • Add a small jar of local honey or pepper jelly for a true Southern touch.
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs add beautiful color and a lovely aroma.
  • Assemble up to 2 hours ahead and cover loosely with plastic wrap until ready to serve.

How to Build It

  1. 1

Start with your Quinlan Treasures cutting board as the base. Place 2–3 small bowls or ramekins on the board for honey, mustard, and pepper jelly.

  2. 2

Arrange your cheeses first — space them out across the board to create natural zones. Cut or cube some for easy grabbing.

  3. 3

Fold or fan your meats in between the cheeses. Prosciutto looks beautiful loosely ruffled; salami can be folded into quarters.

  4. 4

Tuck clusters of fresh grapes, strawberries, and figs around the meats and cheeses for color and freshness.

  5. 5

Fill in the gaps with crackers, sliced baguette, and candied pecans. No empty board should show through.

  6. 6

Add cornichons or pickles for a bright, tangy contrast to the rich meats and cheeses.

  7. 7

Finish with fresh rosemary sprigs tucked throughout for a fragrant, garden-fresh garnish.

  8. 8

Serve immediately or cover loosely and refrigerate for up to 2 hours. Bring to room temperature 20 minutes before serving for the best flavor.

The Perfect Centerpiece

Your Quinlan Treasures cutting board isn't just for prep — it's beautiful enough to serve on. Bring the whole board straight to the table and let your guests gather around.
